Nashville, TN – Zeitlin & Company, Realtors® has selected Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt for the proceeds of its 2008 Zeitlin Charitable Fund, an annual program whereby the company’s agents contribute a portion of their commissions to a local nonprofit organization.

 

During 2007, Zeitlin & Company agents contributed $8,000 to the fund.  Recently the company presented a check to hospital staff for the proceeds and to deliver stuffed animals to children being treated at the facility.

Aside from the 2008 Zeitlin Charitable Fund donation, Zeitlin & Company also participated in two Children’s Miracle Network initiatives to benefit the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.  Zeitlin & Company employees volunteered their time to assist in the “River of Hope” radiothon, a three-day fundraiser broadcast on local radio station 107.5 The River.  Last year the radiothon raised $321,424. 

 

Zeitlin & Company also participated in the Children’s Miracle Network “Change Bandit” program.  Each of the three local Zeitlin & Company offices collected change during the month of February to give to the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

 

The Zeitlin Charitable Fund was launched in 2002.  Each year, Zeitlin & Company selects a different nonprofit to receive the proceeds from the fund.  Past beneficiaries include Boys and Girls Club, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Tennessee, Saddle Up and Our Kids.
